At the beginning of each year, the Junior School invites parents and carers to our Parent Information Evening.

The Junior School Parent Information Evening is an opportunity for parents to meet class teachers and find out specific information about their child’s class. Parents attending will find these sessions very valuable.

This year, we hold our Information Evening once again amid COVID-19 restrictions so we need to restrict families to one parent per session. Families with siblings in classes with concurrent sessions are permitted to send one parent to each.

To begin the evening, the Headmaster and I will take this opportunity to welcome our parent community as a whole prior to the sessions commencing. This will take place in Coote Hall, with appropriate social distancing measures in place.

Following our welcome, parents are requested to go straight to the classrooms for their sessions, thus avoiding any unnecessary gatherings. Please note Stage 3 Sea Dragons (Mrs Spohr’s class) will meet in the Library.

The schedule for the night will be as follows:           

• 5.30pm Information sessions for Early Learning (Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Stage 1)
• 6.15pm Information sessions for Stage 2
• 7.00pm Information sessions for Stage 3

We expect the evening to conclude around 7:45pm

Childcare will be available from 5.15pm for school-aged children only (Pre Kindergarten – Year 6), please advise us if there are any medical issues we need to be aware of. RSVP’s for the information session, as well as bookings for child care need to be made by emailing karrell@bmgs.nsw.edu.au by Friday, 4 February.
